Prep: Was a letterwinner in volleyball and track at Riverdale...Was the state champion in the 100 as a senior and in the 200 both her junior and senior years...Also helped her 4x400 relay teams to state championships her junior and senior years...Named team MVP as a junior and senior...Was MVP of the "Great 8" Invitational, the Georgia Invitational and at Regionals and Districts...Also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes...Her best 100 is a 11.99, her best 200 is a 24.8 and her best 400 is a 53.5...Coached by Rickey Field Personal: Born December 31, 1983 in Honolulu, Hawaii...Daughter of Moreland and Rosalin Scales...Choose Memphis because it was a good school that offered a scholarship and because she liked the track team here...After she graduates from the U of M, she would like to attend fashion and modelling college...Said she would love to run with the USA team and run against Marion Jones...Was also offered scholarships by Middle Tennessee, Austin Peay and UT-Martin...Has worked on a number of volunteer projects, including working at the Veteran's Hospital, serving Thanksgiving dinner...Majoring in international business.
