2008 Outdoor: Wigley competed in four meets during the 2008 outdoor track and field season...She participated in the hammer throw for the Tigers...She would improve on each throw throughout the 2008 season...She began at the Rhodes Open Meet with a toss of 32.95m (108-01) in ninth place...The next week she improved her distance by more than five meters by launching the hammer 37.98m (124-07) to earn her seventh place...At the 2008 C-USA Outdoor Championships, she threw her personal record in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.52m (142-09) which earned her 14th place in the conference.
2008 Indoor: Wigley competed in six meets during the 2008 indoor track and field season...She competed in the indoor weight throw for the Tigers and notched two top-5 finishes and five top-10 finishes...Wigley notched her first top-5 finish at the Arkansas Kickoff Meet with a fifth place throw of 14.24m (46-08.75)...She recorded a personal best weight throw mark at the Arkansas State Invitational with a launch of 15.36m (50-04.75) earning her fourth place...At the 2008 C-USA Indoor Championships she threw a 14.47m (47-05.75) mark which landed her in 18th place.
