ASU RESULTS
Jan. 25, 2003 JONESBORO, ARK.-Wendy Ragle set a new Memphis school record in the Mile Run with a time of 5:06.69 finsihing fourth at the ASU Indoor Meet. The Lady Tiger Track & Field team left its mark on the Arkansas State University Indoor Invitational in the sprinting events. Strength in numbers was the key for Memphis as five tigers competed in the 200m dash, three of whom finished in the top 16 and two more finished in the top 10 in the 55m dash. Lisa-Marie Hyman was the top performer for the Women finishing second in the Triple Jump with a leap of 39'10.50. Monique Nelson added a third place finish in the shotput to help boost the Lady Tiger showing. Former Lady Tiger Kameilah Amaya's 2002 weight throw record of 53'07.50 was also broken by Heather Jenkins of Southeast Missouri with a throw of 55'09.00 (16.99). Seventeen Lady Tigers competed in all and five finished in the top six in their events. The meet consisted of 23 teams.
