KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - With a promising day ahead the Memphis track team was disappointed as rain forced the cancellation of the final day of competition at the 2007 Sea Ray Relays at the University of Tennessee.

The Tigers were expecting several athletes to qualify Saturday for the NCAA Regionals, but after a 45 minute delay, meet officials were forced to cancel the event.

Memphis will have three meets remaining before the C-USA Championships in May. The Tigers will travel to Nashville next weekend for the Vanderbilt Relays.
