New Orleans, La. -- - The University of Memphis women's track and field team set three school records en route a 10th place finish at the Conference USA Championships over the weekend.

Sophomore Lilly Lebron (New York, NY/Martin Luther) finished ninth in the 10,000 meter run, breaking her own school record with a time of 40:12.29. Her previous best had been 40:27.94.

Freshman Julie Wright (McDonald, Ohio/McDonald) also made some rewrites on the school's 800-meter run time. Wright finished sixth in her heat of the 800 in a school record time of 2:16.01. The previous mark had been 2:17.41which has been on the books since Teresa Basgall posted it in 1979.

The women's 4x100 meter relay record also only stood for a year. The team of Alexandra Delatour, Alisa Gardner, Melissa Abraham and Natalie Martindale broke the record held by the 1999 team of Kenisha Davis, Melissa Abraham, Alisa Gardner and Natalie Martindale with a third place finish in 45.76 seconds. Last year, the school record was set at 46.01 seconds.
