TUCSON, Az. - The Memphis track and field teams competed at the Tucson Elite Throwers Classic, this weekend, hosted by the University of Arizona. Senior thrower Susan King won the women's shot put.

King knotched a career-best in the shot put as she pulled out a mark of 18.10 meters (59-5) to win the event. Her mark keeps her in the No. 1 position in the shot leading into NCAA Regionals next weekend.
