MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Coming off a strong showing at last weekend's McDonald's Invitational, the Memphis track and field teams are headed to Bloomington, Ind., Friday and Saturday, February 3-4, for the Hoosier Relays, hosted by Indiana University.

The U of M squads put up a number of strong performances last weekend, with the teams combining for 11 personal records to go along with event titles by Josetta Brooks, J.D. Erickson, Daniele Riendeau, Brandon Winbush and Whitney Bolton.

This weekend, however, the event crowns could be much harder to come by, as the Hoosier Relay field will include a number of top teams from throughout the country.

Still, the Tigers and Lady Tigers expect to have several athletes near the top of their respective events, while they look for continued improvement with the C-USA Championships just three weeks away.

Competition at the Hoosier Relays is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday with running events, to be followed by field events at 4:00 p.m. Saturday's schedule has both running and field events set to begin at approximately 12:00 p.m.

Results for the meet will be available on the Indiana website, www.iuhoosiers.com, with results and recaps to be posted at gotigersgo.com following the meet.
