Greenlee Inks with Tigers

MEMPHIS, Tenn.- Illinois high school product Chardae Greenlee has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the University of Memphis women's track and field team for the 2013-14 season head coach Kevin Robinson announced on Wednesday.
"Chardae is a very accomplished triple jump athlete," Robinson said. "She is one of the highest ranking returning triple jumpers in the country this year as a senior. I feel that she will make an immediate impact on our program, and should develop to be a national level competitor. I am very pleased that she has chosen to be a Tiger."
At the 2012 USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships, Greenlee notched a fourth place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 39'9.75" earning All-America honors. Greenlee carries a personal-best in the triple jump of 39'11".
Greenlee is a two sport athlete at Homewood Flossmoor High School, playing basketball and competing in track & field. Before transferring to Flossmoor for her senior season, Greenlee was a silver medalist at the 2012 Illinois High School Association 3ATrack and Field Championships leaping 38'10.5" in the triple jump for Calumet City Thornton Fractional North High School.
