IRVING, Texas - Susan King earned Conference USA Co-Female Track and Field Outdoor Athlete of the Week honors, announced today by the conference office.

King highlighted the weekend as she was the Tiger with the most success posting two school records at the Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville, Tenn. She won the women's discus with a mark of 162-03 (49.46) on day one. The next day she recorded a mark of 17.53 meters (57-06.25) to place second in the shot put and record yet another school record. Both marks were NCAA regional qualifying marks.

This is King's first C-USA Outdoor Track and Field honor of the year.
