Senior shot putter Sivan Aballi was the lone repeat selection on the C-USA Women's Track and Field All-Academic Team that was released by the league office Tuesday. Aballi was also one of just two seniors to earn a spot on the all-academic squad and is earning her second academic honor in a week after being named an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar First Team honoree earlier this week.

Aballi put the wraps on an outstanding Tiger career last weekend in the NCAA Mideast Regional. The senior posted five NCAA regional qualifying marks in a row this season, and was the C-USA champion in the indoor championships this season in the shot put, qualifying for the NCAA Indoor Championships, where she finished 12th.

A native of Holon, Israel, Aballi graduated in May with a degree in communications and a 3.71 GPA.
