Wendy Ragle leads the University of Memphis women's cross country team to Nashville this weekend for the Vanderbilt Cross Country Invitational. The Lady Tigers join 28 other schools for the meet including C-USA foe Louisville and in-state rivals Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Middle Tennessee.

This is the third meet of the season for the Lady Tigers. Memphis placed third at the Memphis Invitational to open the season with Ragle posting a third-place finish individually, just 14 seconds behind Kaci Pilcher of Southeast Missouri. At the Murray State Invitational two weeks ago, the Lady Tigers finished second as a team and Ragle finished second individually again losing to Pilcher, but this time by only seven seconds. Ragle will be joined by teammates Leslie Daley, Lilly Lebron, Nora Nemere and Hayley Futrell for this weekend's event.
