Jonesboro, Ark. - The University of Memphis women's cross country team looks to rebound from last week's 18th place finish at Vanderbilt in this weekend's Arkansas State Invitational. Junior Wendy Ragle had two top three finishes to start the season but stumbled to a 76th place finish last weekend. Freshman Nora Nemere was the Lady Tigers' top runner last weekend. This will be the Lady Tigers' fourth meet of the season. They openend the year with a third place finish at the Plough Park Invitational in Memphis. On September 8, the Lady Tigers posted a second place finish at the Murray State Invitational. Ragle is the only Lady Tiger runner to post top five finishes this year. She logged a third place finish at Plough Park and a second place finish at Murray State. This is the second of four consecutive weekend meets for Memphis. The Lady Tigers travel to Carbondale, Illinois, next weekend and then host the Tiger Invitational on October 13.
