MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Men's and women's cross country will compete at the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic on Saturday, October 6. The women's race will start at 8:10 p.m., with the men's race to follow at 8:50 p.m.

Last weekend, junior Emily Malinowski won the Rhodes College Invitational 5k, in 18:29, 15 seconds ahead of the next finisher. She will lead the women's side this weekend, which also saw junior Tina Sherratt run an 18:48, breaking 19 minutes for the first time.

The men's team will be led by senior Sam James, who is the veteran of the squad, along with sophomore Jorgen Ekdahl. Freshman Jacob Chapman had an impressive race at the Rhodes College Invitational last weekend, finishing third for the Tigers.
