Memphis Cross Country Ready for Louisville Run

LOUISVILLE, Ky.- University of Memphis cross country squads return to action, on Saturday, at the Pre-NCAA Championship hosted by Louisville. The race will serve as a final tune-up for both teams before the Conference USA Championships hosted by Southern Miss on October 29.
The men take to the course at 9:45 a.m. (CT) with the women slated to follow at 10:30 a.m. (CT). The men's and women's teams are coming off a sweep of the Rhodes College Invitational, and individual wins by Louisa Lingley and James Maglasang at the annual event.
This week the men's squad moved up one place in the USTFCCCA's South Region Top-15 Rankings from No. 11 to No. 10. Florida State (1), Georgia (2), Florida (3), Auburn (4), Tennessee (5), East Tennessee State (6), Mississippi State (7), Kennesaw State (8) and Georgia Tech (9) round out the rest of the men's top-10.
