Tigers Take Part in Push Across Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn.- University of Memphis track and field/cross country athletes took some time out of their fall break to take part in Push Across Memphis, on Saturday.
The event hosted by the Memphis Child Advocacy Center was held to bring awareness to child abuse and shaken baby syndrome. The 22 mile relay began at LeBonheur Children's Hospital and ended 22 miles later at the Wolfchase Galleria Mall.
The Tigers were in charge of three different two mile sections for a grand total of six miles in the event. Participating athletes included Kimi Jennings, Carolina Carmichael, Sabrina Hochreuther , Clara Amat Fernandez, Jada Parker , Alisha Fitch, Trent Scott, Stephen Tankersley, Maven Ford, Justin Pinkston , Sydney Wright, Jessica Tatum, Austin Carter, Caitlyn Tait, Tyrell Forde, Britta Jaarats, Cyarra Wells, Jacob Ryan, Godfrey Fayne, Claire Cash, DaQuanya Byrd-West, Brandon Keys, Thomas Poole, Chardae Greenlee, Chris Walker, Tuure Hollo, Luis Hanssler, Meghan Christensen and Phoebe Bauer.
