Greenville, N.C. - The men's and women's cross country teams head to North Carolina this weekend for the Seventh Annual Conference USA Cross Country Championships. New member East Carolina is serving as the host institution for the event to be held at Lake Kristi on Saturday.

The 8,000 meter men's race begins at 9 a.m. with competitors from 13 schools participating. Joining Memphis in the field will be Charlotte, Cincinnati, DePaul, East Carolina, Houston, Louisville, Marquette, St. Louis, South Florida, TCU and Tulane.

The 6,000 meter women's race will begin at 9:45 a.m. and will include all 14 C-USA members. The women's team had one meet victory this season capturing the title at the Pepsi/Arkansas State Invitational in Jonesboro, Ark.
