Sophomore (2006)
Had a break-through sophomore campaign after seeing little time as a freshman...One of the team's best all-around players...Started in all 35 matches...Finished the season second on the team with 527 points, 446 kills, 3.46 k/g, 47 aces and 360 digs...Hit .240 and added 62 blocks...Led the team in attempts and tied for the team lead with 12 double-doubles...Had a career-high 24 kills and 18 digs to help lead Memphis to a 3-2 win over Tulsa in its first-ever TV contest (10.13.06)...Earned C-USA Player of the Week honors (10.16.06)...Hit .350 with 20 kills vs. Tulane (10.29.06)...Named to the all-tournament team after a strong showing in the Memphis Invitational...Downed 17 kills and hit .424 vs. East Carolina (10.8.06)...Also had 17 kills and a .400 attacking clip vs. UCF (11.10.06)...Registered 10 or more kills in each of the final eight matches of the season...Posted a double-double of 14 kills and a career-best 19 digs to help the Tigers advance past Houston (11.18.06) in the C-USA Tournament.
