Sam Chambers enters his fifth season as a student manager for the Tiger volleyball program. Chambers graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Memphis in May, 2006 with a degree in history with a minor in judaic studies.

Chambers is the son of former Tiger setter Becky Harden, who played from 1977-80, and the brother of Tiger sophomore Sarah Chambers. A native of Munford, Tenn., he is currently pursuing his master's degree from Memphis in Education. He is slated to complete his graduate degree in May 2008.

A member of the National Honor Society and the American Technological Honor Society at Munford High, Chambers received several academic honors, including the Early Scholars and Knowledge Bowl Scholarships.
