Saw valuable time as a reserve middle blocker in her redshirt freshman campaign...Made one start in 23 matches (42 games) played...Hammered down 31 kills ...Was strong at the net, registering 20 blocks...Finished the season with 44 points...Recorded at least one block in each of the first five matches she appeared in...Hit .169...Added seven defensive digs...Pounded a career-best five kills on nine swings vs. Indiana State (9/1/07)...Came up big for the Tiger defense with five blocks (two solo, three assists) in a 3-1 victory over UCF in the C-USA Championships (11/15/07)...Added four kills and 7.5 points in the contest...Logged her lone service ace of the year vs. UAB (9/30/07).

Was a four-year starter for SDSS...Served as team captain her sophomore and senior years...Earned team MVP honors as a sophomore...Led Saugeen District Secondary to the Bluewater Athletic Association title and an appearance in the Central Western Ontario Secondary School Association tournament as a senior.

Daughter of Shirley and Ken Underwood...Played club volleyball for the Waterloo Tigers... Played both middle blocker and rightside...Helped the Tigers to gold medal finishes in the 2005 18U Ontario Girls Provincial Cup and was selected as one of 40 athletes in Ontario to participate in Provincial High Performance Camp in 2005...Participated in the 17U Nationals in 2005, the 20U National Tournament in April 2006 and 18U Nationals in May 2006...Majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology.
