Memphis regrouped from its first loss of the season today with a pair of 3-0 wins against Arkansas-Little Rock and Louisiana Tech. Shelby Burton and Laura Côté earned all-tournament honors to lead the Tigers to a runner-up finish in the five-team tournament. Southeast Missouri State went undefeated in the weekend to claim the tournament championship.

Behind Burton's 17 kills and .708 attack percentage, Memphis got its day off to a strong start in the sweep of UALR. Burton's .708 clip is the fourth-highest single-match mark in Memphis history. The Tiger offense also got 13 kills from Ashley Liford and 44 assists from Côté.

Christen Clayton and Sarah Bury posted 14 and 12 digs each for the Memphis defense.
