Memphis won the battle in nearly every statistical category, but hurt itself by committing 14 errors from the service line, while surrendering 10 Ole Miss service aces.

Bury finished the night with a double-double of 23 kills and 13 digs. Ashley Liford helped the Tigers cause with 19 kills. Laura Côté dished out a match-high 59 assists.

Becky Shaffer added 10 digs for the Tiger backrow, while Côté made a career-high seven blocks. Shelby Burton made six rejections.

Ole Miss was led by setter Rachel Kieckhafer's outstanding performance. The Rebels setter posted a triple-double with 10 kills, 45 assists and 11 digs. Emily Jones and Caitlin Weiss each downed 12 kills, while Jackie Jones posted 11 kills and 12 digs. Libero Tara Langley led the team with 15 digs.

The service line is where Ole Miss won the contest with four players serving up at least two aces.

Memphis will return to C-USA action on Fri. Oct. 26, when it goes to battle against Southern Miss. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
