2010 Mid-South Volleyball Camps Registration Form

University of Memphis head coach April Jauregui and her staff will team up with the Rhodes College volleyball staff to put on the 2010 Mid-South Volleyball Camp--a series of three camps to be held at Rhodes College in June and July.

Mid-South Volleyball camp will consist of two All-Skills sessions (June 7-10 and July 26-29) and a Team Camp (July 26-29). The camp will offer top-level coaching and training from the Memphis and Rhodes coaches and players.

Designed for players ages 8-18 to improve their entire game, the All-Skills Camp will feature 30 minutes of pre-camp supervision daily. The July 7-10 All-Skills Camp will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The July 26-29 Camp will go from 8:30 a,m.-3:30 p.m. Campers will be instructed through interactive and creative instruction, while being grouped according to skill level in efforts to meet the individual needs of all campers.

All-Skills Camp fee is $225, with an early bird special of $200. There is a non-refundable $50 deposit required with each application. Registration begins 45 minutes before the start of the first day of each respective camp. The deadline to receive the early bird rates are May 24, 2010 for the June 7-10 All-Skills Camp and July 12, 2010 for the July 26-29 Camp.

Campers should bring their volleyball shoes, knee pads, water jug, lunch, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen.

Recommended for varsity-level teams, Team Camp will be a dual-phase session with a coaching clinic (4 p.m. -4:30 p.m.) followed by competition and instruction (5 p.m. - 10 p.m.)

The cost for Team Camp is $550 per team if $100 camp deposit and registration forms are received by July 12, 2010. After the July 12 deadline, the camp fee increases to $650 per team. Any school to sign up two teams will receive a $100 discount.

Teams will compete against other teams of equal talent and will be challenged throughout the four-day camp. There will be officials for each match, as well as a Hospitality room for coaches, an All-Tournament team and a Team Camp Championship trophy. There are only 16 spaces available and will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
