Hello American Athletic Conference, We Are Memphis:
On July 1, the University of Memphis officially became a member of the American Athletic Conference. Beginning July 8, GoTigersGo.com brings a daily introduction of each sport at the University of Memphis to the American Athletic Conference. The sport schedule is below with links to previously featured programs.
The Memphis volleyball program has seen two student-athletes earn CoSIDA Academic All-American honors, including current head coach April Jauregui. Formerly April Harriman, she earned Academic All-American honors in 2000 while Heather Watts was an Academic All-American selection in 2003 and 2004.

Players in 1,000 Kill Club
Two members of the 2012 roster increased the number to 22 players in program history to reach 1,000 kills in their respective careers.
Monique Swaby (1992-95) held the program record for career kills with 1,789 until Altrese Hawkins passed it in 2012.

Altrese Hawkins made the 2012 season a memorable one as she ascended to the top of the record books for career kills with 1,806.

Volleyball Set for 33rd Season
The Tigers start their 33rd season of volleyball with an all-time record of 830-642.
