Men's Soccer Coach's Show

As the University of Memphis continuously looks to increase its online presence through its web site, the Tiger athletic department announced it will stream select video coach's shows beginning today with men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball.

Hosted by the "voice of Memphis baseball and women's basketball," Jeff Brightwell, several question and answer interview programs will be placed online during the course of the year. Fans will have the opportunity to follow their team through these free in-depth updates with coaches and players available on Memphis All-Access.

In the first installment of these online coach's shows, men's soccer head coach Richie Grant, women's soccer head coach Brooks Monaghan and volleyball head coach April Jauregui joined Brightwell to discuss their upcoming seasons. The shows can be viewed by clicking on the links above or in the sidebar video viewer on the individual sport's home pages. The programs can also be found in the Memphis All-Access streaming window.

The coach's shows are just part of the increased content planned for Memphis All-Access in the 2008-09 season. For the first time, streaming video and play-by-play audio will be available either live or as archived programming for select home men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball events. This increased coverage joins the already established streaming event programming for football, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.

Memphis All-Access is the source for live and archived streaming Internet video of select 2008-09 Memphis events. On-demand audio and video interviews, highlight shows and press conferences are also included.

Although several features can be accessed without a paid subscription, all live and archived games require membership enrollment. Several options are available. Fans looking for Memphis only content can subscribe for $9.95 a month or $79.95 a year for Memphis Tigers All-Access. CBS College Sports All-Access subscriptions are also available for $14.95 a month or $119.95 a year, which gives subscribers thousands of games streamed live with over 30 men's and women's sports from over a 100 top schools and conferences. Subscribers of this service also get access to select Pay-Per-View games.

For the last five years, Brightwell has broadcast both home and away contests for Memphis baseball and women's basketball on WUMR FM. This year, the native of Memphis will also become the voice of Memphis men's and women's soccer and volleyball as he calls the play-by-play on Memphis All-Access for several home dates for each sport.

A 1996 graduate of Memphis, Brightwell came back to his alma mater in 2003 after spending six years in Missouri. He has done play-by-play for Southeast Missouri State, Central Methodist College, Truman State, Moberly Community College and the Mississippi RiverKings.

Brightwell was named the College Baseball Foundation's National Broadcaster of the Month in April 2005 and was honored as the Sportscaster of the Year in 2002 by the Missouri Broadcasters Association. He has also served as the public address announcer for the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds and the Mississippi RiverKings.
