MEMPHIS, Tenn. - With just a week left in preseason workouts, the University of Memphis volleyball team will hold a Blue-Gray Scrimmage Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. Admission is free.

Memphis, who was picked to finish eighth in the Conference USA preseason poll, will get the 2006 season underway on Aug. 25, when it takes on Kent State at the University of Evansville Aces Invitational. Match time for Friday's opener is slated for 5 p.m.
