MEMPHIS, Tenn. - For the first time since the 2006 season, the University of Memphis volleyball program will showcase its talent nationwide as its match versus Tulsa, at 2 p.m. on Sun., Oct. 19, will be televised on CBS-College Sports as one of the 2008 AVCA Match of the Week schedule. One of four C-USA regular season matches to be televised this year, the Memphis-Tulsa tilt will be aired via tape delay on Tues., Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. Jason Knapp and Anne Marie Anderson will call the play-by-play action.

Memphis is 1-1 in TV matches, with both contests being played in the 2006 season. Behind a career-high 24 kills and 18 digs from Sarah Bury, the Tigers battled to a thrilling 3-2 win over Tulsa in the program's first-ever televised contest on Oct. 13, 2006. Memphis fell to UAB in five in the 2006 C-USA championship bout.

CBS-C will also carry the C-USA Championships title match live from the Elma Roane Fieldhouse on Nov. 23.
