TAMPA, Fla. - The Tigers hit the road for two games in Florida this weekend, they'll first take on the USF Bulls Friday at 7 p.m. CT before traveling to Orlando to take on the UCF Knights Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
The Bulls enter the weekend with an 11-10 record, but have only lost three of their eight matches at home. They’ve had an impressive conference season thus far, with a 5-2 record, including wins against Rutgers and UConn as well as road wins against Cincinnati, SMU and Houston.
Erin Fairs leads the Bulls offense with 272 kills, an average of 3.58 per set. Kayla Bivins is the only other Bull to average over 2.00 kills per set, totaling 168 averaging 2.15. Andrea Rodriguez Gomez is leading the conference with 1.29 blocks per set, totaling 101 on the year.
The Bulls employ two setters, with Natalia Soares and Wylie Devlin totaling 482 and 361 respectively.
Catlin Lilly continues to lead the Tiger offense with a 3.25 kill per set average, giving her 237 on the year. Lauren Hawkins sits right behind her with 201 after her impressive performance last week, earning her a spot on the American Athletic Honor Roll for the week. Viktorija Teivane also has passed the 200 kill plataeu, sitting right at 200.
