Hattiesburg, Miss. - Amanda Boatright had 15 kills and five solo blocks as the University of Memphis defeated Southern Mississippi 14-16, 15-10, 16-14, 10-15, 15-8 here Friday.

The Lady Tigers, who improved to 12-20 and 4-11 in Conference USA, take on Tulane Sunday in New Orleans in the regular-season finale. USM is now 12-18 and 3-12.

Rosie Glenn had 16 kills while Ginger Garrett added 15 for the Lady Tigers.
