Memphis Falls to Oklahoma

TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma scored twice within a two-minute span shortly after halftime to claim a 2-0 win over Memphis Sunday at the Tulsa Classic.
After a scoreless first half at Hurricane Stadium, the Sooners came out firing and scored in the 55th minute and again in the 57th minute. Oklahoma senior forward Liz Keester scored the opening goal and junior Madeline Brem sealed the win.
Memphis had nine total shots in the match but only one was on target.
Goalkeeper Maryse Bard-Martel had two saves in the match.
Memphis will be back at Mike Rose Soccer Complex to host Oklahoma State on Friday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. The Tigers will then embark on the longest road swing of the season with three-straight away matches, against UT Martin, Temple and UConn.
