Tigers Head to Alabama for the Crimson Tide Invitational

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -Â The Memphis cross country teams are set to travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the Crimson Tide Invitational on Friday October 17 at the Harry Pritchett Running Park.
The University of Alabama will host the meet, with the men's 8K race beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the women's 6K following at 9:20 a.m. Information about the race can be found HERE.
At last year's invitational, Kenny Guy (25:00.6), Robert Randall (25:16.6) and Alex Bobak(25:46.0) each placed within the top 100. On the women's side, Ann-Marie Braese (22:47.2) and Brooke Doyle (24:11.6) led the Tigers as the team's top finishers.
At their most recent meet, the Rhodes Invitational, the Tigers posted strong results highlighted by two individual victories. Guy won the men's 8K in 24:52.92, while Braese took first in the women's 5K with a time of 18:15.49. In total, five Tigers finished in the top 10: Guy (1st, 24:52.92), Leonardo Mazzoni (3rd, 25:11.77), Randall (4th, 25:14.30), Braese (1st, 18:15.49) and Reese McDevitt (6th, 18:46.52).
