Garfoot, Swathwood in Top Five, Tigers in Second Place at Diamante Intercollegiate

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. - The University of Memphis women's golf team sits in second place at the Diamante Intercollegiate following round two while Tilly Garfoot and Claire Swathwood sit in the top five for individuals.

Memphis, who finished round two four over par, goes into tomorrow's final round in second place and just 12 strokes behind current leader, Boston College.

Garfoot, who holds the top spot for individuals, finished five under par today with four birdies and an eagle on hole 11. Her 67 round score was her lowest score since the 2022-23 season when she shot a 67 in round two of the Lady Red Wolves Classic. Swathwood is not far behind her in fifth place at three under par and in a share of fifth place after shooting 75 in today's round.

Swathwood also recorded an eagle on hole 11.

Both Emily Wilson and Pavarisa Jongpipittaporn go into tomorrow's final round at three over par while Claire Todd rounds out the squad at nine over par.
