Tigers Fall in Final Game of Houston Series
Mar 26, 2023 | Softball
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger softball team dropped their final game against Houston 8-1 as they closed out the weekend. The Tigers (5-26) struggled to capitalize on scoring opportunities, racking up eight hits and three runs.
"We need to find ways to take every opportunity we are given and get better every time we step up to bat or pitch," head coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro said. "We continue shot ourselves in the foot when we don't capitalize when we get on base. We showed a good first six innings, but we need to find a way to put together a full good game and not make mistakes on things that we can control."
